Final fun with Friends

12 10 2009

My farewell fun was terrific – despite being a picnic planned after days torrential downpour. But with the generousity of Mum’s church, we managed an inside, comfy ChloëCafe and heaps of people came for one last hug and a goodbye. Then last weekend I was in OZ I spent with Mum and some of my oldest and closest friends. Such a great way to say goodbye – chilling, eating and catching up. Over the last few weeks I’ve felt so loved by people who’ve given up time and more… I didn’t even pack my bags (no worries I was there during the task so I could sign the little card, but standing with a tea and a biccie in your hand observing someone else pack is luxurious 🙂 I’ve got awesome partners, awesome friends… especially the marvelous chicas who prayed me off before my flight – you women ROCK!
